The fourth congress will be a unique opportunity for burn care workers in Africa to come together and to share in a mutual interest: prevention, management, rehabilitation and burn research in Africa. International speakers will highlight development in the international arena with experts from around the world.

Feel the heartbeat of Cape Town at the newly refurbished Fountains Hotel in the city centre, overlooking the famous fountains on its main arteries, Heerengracht and Adderley Streets.

The Fountains Hotel and Suites lie within walking distance of the city’s many attractions and business centre as well as the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The entrance to the hotel is on the walkway on St Georges Mall with its many trendy shops, quaint stalls, coffee shops and department stores.

The entire ground floor of the hotel is airy and light, with sliding glass doors opening up to views of Table Mountain and the Fountains. It encompasses the reception, the restaurant, the outside terrace and sundeck, a convivial bar and lounge, a swimming pool and a gym with another indoor pool.

Three levels of undercover parking beneath the hotel provide secure parking. Knowledgeable concierges, who know the city inside out, man the desk at the reception day and night and can help with advice on where to eat, what shows are on, interesting tours to do etc. They can also help with bookings. 24-hour room service is also available.

The following fees for early registration include a congress kit (finalized program, abstract book, Certificate of Attendance) and access to all scientific sessions, the exhibiting hall, the opening ceremony, the welcoming reception, the gala dinner, lunches and coffee/tea breaks.
